Club Championship 2002-2003 |
Newport (I.W.) Scrabble Club's club evenings are miniature Swiss-matchplay tournaments run under ABSP rules. This year saw these change from 2 games to 3 games part-way through. The Club Championship is based on the player's average placing in each such tournament over the course of a season running September to August. To qualify, each player must attend half the year's evenings. During the 2002-2003 year, this meant a minimum of 24 evenings. |
